Description: The treatment of symptomatic patients with degenerative scoliosis and/or spondylolisthesis in the lumbar spine frequently requires decompression and stabilization. Decompression can be achieved indirectly or directly. For MISS the main procedures employed are MIS TLIF, lateral, oblique and directly anterior approaches, each with specific advantages and risks. This webinar will focus on MIS TLIF for direct and lateral/oblique approaches for indirect decompression and will discuss indications, alternatives, risks and benefits of each approach.
Target audience:
Surgeons doing open surgery but with little or no MISS experience
Surgeons with some experience with microscopes and tubes but not for complex MISS
Surgeons with experience in MISS who use microscope and burr including complex MISS
