Description

The AOSpine Master is a forum for the improvement of patients' care with spinal deformities. Surgical management of spinal deformities is always a challenge. This symposium will provide participants with essential tools for the treatment of spinal deformities in their different locations and ages (from children to the elderly patient) and the ability to apply this in their daily clinical practice. To this end we have experts in different subjects, practical exercises, interactive discussion of clinical cases that will make this event an unforgettable experience.

This event is divided into four modules. Module 1 is dedicated to adult scoliosis, module 2 to spondylolisthesis, module 3 to adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and module 4 to Scheuermann's kyphosis. Faculty present expert lectures with introduction of common deformity problems and cases how to think a case through and best solution-finding. Participants should present cases putting it all into practice: discussing cases, voting on treatment and learning from outcomes.

This symposium is aimed at spinal surgeons (orthopaedic and neurological), involved in spine surgery for more than 10 years in children’s and adults' spinal deformities, who are aiming to further improve their knowledge or specialisation in spinal deformity management.
