WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND THIS COURSE AND HOW IT COULD BENEFIT YOUR DAILY PRACTICE?
Full-endoscopic spine surgery is a rapidly emerging evolution of minimally invasive spine surgery. As the chairperson of the Principles Endoscopy Course at AOSpine Davos Courses 2019, I strongly recommend this course because it will give you the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the basic foundations of fullendoscopic surgical technique. Importantly, this course will provide you with the necessary underlying principles, step-by-step surgical protocols both in theory and praxis to start your journey into this new exciting field.
WHAT THIS COURSE OFFERS
This three-day course is designed for spine surgeons who are new to the field of full-endoscopic spine surgery. The course will cover basic transforaminal and lumbar approaches to the lumbar spine. All participants will have the opportunity to discuss indications and cases amenable to treatment with full-endoscopic spine surgery with leading international endoscopic spine surgeons. Necessary equipment, OR setup, basic surgical tasks and workhorse basic approaches will be discussed in lectures and then practiced hands-on with cutting edge simulators. This teaching module offered by the AOSpine will enable spine surgeons to start integrating basic full-endoscopic techniques into their practice.
