Description

Treatment of ageing spine poses one of the greatest challenges that we are currently facing. The population is continuously increasing the life-span, with relatively high expectations of life quality. Unfortunately, this leads to specific difficulties in the treatment of spinal pathologies: compromised bone quality, concomitant severe chronic diseases, altered compensatory mechanism, and others have to be considered before we start the treatment.

The Seminar is targeting experienced spine surgeons, who are fronting our elderly patients.

The event will comprise of evidence-based lectures, expert debates focusing on cemented vertebral body augmentation and spinal alignment, and finally case-based small group discussion.
