Advanced Level Simulated Bioskills Courses—Microsurgical Decompression and Fusion Procedures in Lumbar Spine
This course features simulated bioskills exercises to practice several key microsurgical decompression and fusion procedures for the lumbar spine using a model simulator, an operating microscope, and instrumentation. It also features small group discussions where groups of participants discuss cases with the expert faculty. This blended learning event uses online pre-course activities to ensure that all participants have a common basic knowledge of the content.
Course A: December 11–12 (SOLD OUT)
Course B: December 13–14
The focus will be on the latest teaching technology and a hands-on session at the bioskill simulator.
The teaching level will be exceptionally high, with a 3:1 ratio between faculty and participants and an individual teaching session of 1:1 training.
These courses are designed for advanced level spine surgeons with five years or more experience in spine surgery and led by international faculty and key opinion leaders.
Participants attending either of the two courses, have the opportunity to observe the Davos Courses Masters' level modules on Monday or Tuesday, depending in which bioskills course they participate in.
