Description

This course will teach orthopedic-, neuro-, and trauma spine surgeons the principals of

anterior approaches to the lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine. The program includes the

indications for degenerative, tumor, trauma and deformity cases. The focus of this course

is to teach clinically relevant issues and to provide the participant with tips and tricks for

everyday practice in the operating theatre.

There are some possible complications associated with anterior approaches. Therefore

this course will also deal with the management of these complications. Interactive case

discussions will be integrated into the program as these proved extremely popular in the

past.
