Analyze the history and physical examination with a high index of suspicion for primary andpostoperative spinal infection;
Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests to confirm infection and identify thecausative organism
Prescribe appropriate evidence-based medical therapy and preoperative prophylaxis
Assess the indications for surgical intervention and perform appropriate surgical procedures
Analyze degenerative spine patients’ history and physical examination findings
Use appropriate diagnostic tools for degenerative spine diseases
Use evidence-based decision making when recommending operative and non-operativeinterventions for degenerative spine diseases
