Description

Challenges in the management of spinal infection and spinal tumor need more dedicated medical and surgical approach. This course will address specific and controversial conditions such as role of spinal instrumentation in spinal infection. This course will also describe in short lectures the challenges and possible options for controversial tumor conditions. New perspectives on spinal cord tumor surgery offer new learning insights for even an experienced surgeon. This course offers you a challenging learning experience with interactive sessions facilitated by faculty in their field of expertise, in a modular format. The course will comprise of evidence-based lectures, case presentations, discussions and debates between faculty and participants.

Objectives
Explain the controversies in the diagnosis of spinal infections.
Decide which cases need biopsy, indications and limitations.
Explain the controversies around the different treatments.
Identify and determine how to approach complex cases in spinal infection and tumor.
Correctly indicate and perform surgery including risk assessment and avoidance of complications.
Explain an update on important clinical studies in spinal infection and tumor.

Car Parking
Car parking will be free of charge for the participants who stay at the hotel.
For the outside participants, the fee is 15TL (approx. 6 euro) for 2 hrs. Between 2–12 hours the fee is 25TL (approx. 10 euros).
